Application/Technical Marketing Engineer

The Technical Marketing/Application Engineer is responsible to setup
the characterization environment for Hall sensors, including lab test setup and
PCB design. Furthermore, he/she is responsible for the development and design
of development kits to enable a quick assessment and design in by customer. He/she
takes care about market analysis and device roadmap together with the design
team and product line.
ACTIVITIES
Data Gathering and Analysis
Perform market and competitiveness analysis,
“Customer Problem Roadmap”
Analyze capabilities of
competitors by testing their products
Execute market analysis,
definition of the Device Roadmap
Work hand in hand with
Design team and product line to ensure that our devices are competitive in
their markets and address customer requirements
Technical writing
Create design guides, troubleshooting guides,
evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations,
videos and demonstrations for our devices
Build and maintain a demonstration environment
for our devices
Technical Support
Setup Hall characterization environment, test
setup, PCB design measurements etc.
Handle NPI process
Respond to customer or field inquiries, assist with
Technical RFPs and work with a cross-functional team of PMs, SEs, Engineers as
required.
Support
device launch activities and assist with Tradeshows, Conferences and Technical
Sales Training or Channel Partner Training activities
Sales
and marketing efforts as required. Some travel required to support field and
marketing activity
QUALIFICATION
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Solid background in semiconductor
product characterization
knowledge of measurement methods and
tools
Knowledge of magnetic sensors
PCB design
Prior experience in related roles with
at least 5 years of relevant experience
Data analysis skills
Risk analysis and management skills
Exceptional written and oral
communication skills
