"Charter of Pescara: "LFoundry reachs the "Advanced level"Saturday 26 November, at the headquarters of FATER company in Pescara, there was the presentation of the "Charter of Pescara", drafted by the Abruzzo region with companies, universities and social partners, at the behest of the Vice President of the region and Alderman for economic development On. Giovanni Lolli. Speakers were the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Italian Ministers, Claudio De Vincenti, the President of the Environment Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and President of Symbola-Foundation for Italian qualities, On. Ermete Realacci and On. Giovanni Lolli. The “Charter” represents a pact between enterprises and Region and is the first joint act for Abruzzo that we must aim for a more conscious industry aiming at environmental, social and economic sustainability. It’s a strategic importance and represents an advanced project, both for the method by which it was made that for the result achieved, for a more sustainable and livable society. An innovative and shared tool, consistent with EU policies, for a circular and green economy that can be an inspiration for other regions. The "Charter", based on requirements of environmental, social and economic sustainability, gives access, according to one of three levels (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced), at one series of advantages that are listed below. LFoundry is part of the Coordination Table and by joining today to "paper," according to its sustainability parameters, would be entitled to be registered under the "Advanced" level.

- Inclusion in notices/warnings under the FESR Abruzzo 2014-2020 of specific lines of action with dedicated budget; or anticipation of award criteria. (Yes)
- Inclusion in notices/warnings under the FSE Abruzzo 2014-2020 of specific lines of action with dedicated budget; or anticipation of award criteria. (Yes)
- Simplification of the procedure with regard to environmental, economic and social certifications. (Yes)
- Application of further financial assistance intensity allowable aid (based on the EC regulations) in proportion to the degree of adherence to the Charter, subject to the basic rate of 80% granted to each undertaking. (100% of the residual part)
-Reducing burdens of periodic monitoring for solid, liquid and gaseous effluent emissions. (Yes)
-Reduction of terms of issue of AIA and AUA. (Yes)
-30% discount on charges in primary urbanization during early settlement of organizations and 50% in case of expansion within the same site within industrial areas.
-Discount of up to 10% on rates of water services, sewage and purification.
-Eliminating charges payable by companies in case of requests for changes of intended use of a lot or a building, third party rentals, transfers, etc when the incoming company has joined the Paper in Pescara.
-Compatibly with budgetary constraints arising from the stability law 2017, IRAP regional tax reduction.
-Significant reduction in charges guarantors due to guarantee the participation in public tendering procedures and execution of contracts, upon provision of a guarantee fund or an insurance policy after regional power from the Abruzzo region. (25%)
-Self-production of energy easier.
-Procedural time reduction in the case of environmental complexes through preventive dialogue with the Abruzzo region (screening – preliminary Services Conference ex art. 14 paragraph 4 l. 241) to define the necessary documentation. -Time reduced to a "minimum" civil engineering competence permissions through preventive dialogue with the Abruzzo region.
-Host a PhD intern within 6 months and for no-cost, under the program “Garanzia Giovani”.
-Allow the strengthening of human capital skills
-Finance sustainability-oriented industrial doctorates.
-Financial Bonuses, under the FSE, for companies that take over 30 indefinitely.
