Aging is becoming one of the hot issues as the pension age has been postponed by law in Italy.
At LFoundry we consider
carefully this aspect, above all on the case of shift workers, as our shift is
12 hours based. For this reason yesterday we have signed an agreement with the
work council that goes in the direction to make easier the life of senior shift
workers. The standard shift is designed on a scheme of 2 consecutive working
days + 2 consecutive working nights. With this agreement we will experiment a
shift scheme based on 1 working day + 1 working night. We believe that in this
way we can mitigate the impact of the shift schedule, optimizing the well-being
of senior shift people at work with positive consequences on their engagement
and performance.
The experimentation will start with a limited number of people
and the selection will be based upon the seniority and age
